DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be conducting routine bridge inspections at the Twin Ports Interchange next week. Motorists can expect lane and ramp closures between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
- Monday, Sept. 21 left lane closure on the I-35 northbound ramp to I-535 Blatnik Bridge
- Tuesday, Sept. 22 I-535 Blatnik Bridge ramp to both Highway 53 and I-35 southbound closed. A detour will be posted to take northbound I-35 to 5th Ave W to southbound I-35.
- Wednesday, Sept. 23 I-35 southbound ramp to I-535 Blatnik Bridge closed. A detour will be posted to take Highway 53 northbound to 21st Ave W to Highway 53 southbound to I-535
- Thursday, Sept. 24 I-535 Blatnik bridge ramp to northbound I-35 closed. A detour will be posted to take northbound Highway 53 to 21st Ave W to southbound Highway 53 to northbound I-35.
If inclement weather occurs, that day’s closure will be rescheduled in the future.
